The Horizon series being my favourites, I loved him as Sylens. He’s such a good antagonist - not evil, not uncaring, but one hell of a smug selfish asshole. He plays it real well. I haven’t finished Forbidden West, so I don’t know if he dies at the end of that one, but I kind of hope so now, because if he was planned…

Loved Lance in Fringe, and the John Wick franchise just will not be the same without him, but my fav role is probably Sylas in the Horizon games, with a close runner up as Zavala in Destiny 2.

I suspect the confusion stared with “free reign,” which, while incorrect, does make grammatical and logical sense, and now people just assume that “reign” is appropriate in all non-“rain” cases.
