I think the biggest plus that came from Clooney leaving ER was the reduced emphasis on pediatrics which disappeared entirely after Cleo left. Anthony Edwards' departure hurt the show more than any other.

Nothing was better than Live 8, where each performance was interrupted so that a couple of 20somethings who missed out on being an important VJ by a good 15 years could talk about how many people were there and how great the music was. Which sometimes was aided by the music the background. Too bad Morrissey wasn't…
I wish Kevin Smith would admit that "retiring" was just a way to get his name in the news.
Well they can give her a new project or have her focus some time on her family life. If you look back to the early seasons with filling the pit, it shows that Leslie doesn't necessarily need a huge arc to make for TV. Obviously there's the problem that they've done a lot of that already, but there's places for Leslie…
Family Tree was a fun show that I liked, but didn't really care much about. I think one season is enough. Hello Ladies was getting better by the end but I'm very happy it's gone.
I've been giving Parks & Rec some slack since it's clear they've been preparing for the reset that will come with Lowe and Jones leaving. I just hope that a reset doesn't involve relying solely on the character quirks for plot problems.
It's a similar problem that Michael Scott faced. At this point in the show, her character is supposed to evolve at least in some small fashion, but she doesn't.
I just finished Every Day is an Atheist Holiday. I don't think Penn is as smart as he thinks he is, but he's been successful in all the ways that success is measured so what does that matter?
The Sesame Street version "Furry Happy Monsters" completely justifies the existence of "Shiny Happy People." R.E.M. is a band with in my opinion, only one bad album in Around the Sun. For this guy to hate on them past SHP is a little much.
I'd rank that, the Aviator, and the Departed ahead of it.
I agree with that. Wolf of Wall Street was smart to center the whole word around DiCaprio.
The Wolf of Wall Street reminded me way too much of Casino, albeit a better version. The first hour was spent establishing the larger than life rise of the leads tossed in with some romantic tension and then it slows down and forgets where it's going.
This article reeks of "watch this so we can write about it and not worry about the decreased view counts."
I play Games Without Frontiers when I teach yoga sometimes.
I really liked the addition of Steve Bacic to the cast, though season 5 was very shaky.
Andromeda was great. Be happy for what you had!!!
Rules of Engagement was perfectly captured by David Spade's face on that baby and that's how I'll always remember it.
It's a pretty good show with a lot of potential. It's not one of my favorites right now, but I'd be sad if HBO didn't give it another chance. It would be fairly odd of them not too.
I can't see Getting On getting cancelled just yet. HBO needs to put it in an environment where it can actually have a fighting chance before it makes a decision.
He paints the story quite well. The lines of who's good and who's bad certainly fades and the Starks become less prevalent in the story.
