Possibly relevant to you post: (and honestly, it’s just a great movie)

Yes. That’s why I said “many peoples’ nightmares.”

If something like this happens in the US shortly before the election, yes, you have just described many peoples’ nightmares.

They have them on the Jersey Turnpike now, too.

They were independent contractors, not slaves.

I’m pretty sure a letter from my doctor stating I’m schizo-affective will get me out of jury duty, assuming the article I wrote for Cracked.com about how both fingerprints and DNA can screw up, doesn’t.

“Look at that poor lion in the back, he isn’t going to get ANY!” - little girl crying when she sees picture of Christians being martyred in the arena, according to a jokebook I had as a kid.

To me, that face says “crazy and or meth - avoid.” YMMV. I guess her bone structure is good.

According to the NY Times the max they have to post is 50 million. And they can always appeal the bond requirement in Federal court. (Where Hulk’s lawsuit had already been dismissed).

Thank you for posting this. A 2nd hand 300d (with turbo) was the first car we bought after we got married. It had over a hundred thousand miles on it, which seemed crazy high in those days, but it felt solid and reliable in a way no other car (even Rolls Royce) did back then.

The T got a lot of votes. I suggested an early V8, so he could drive it on highways, and not break his arm starting it. 2CV is a great choice, also, depending on year. They were available as grey-market imports for awhile in the 80s; a guy in south Jersey Federalized them.

Of course, they’ll do it on 70 octane gas, were such a thing still available.

I remember to this day a Model A passing my dad, uphill on 208 in Wykoff. He was driving a 6 cylinder Ford Mavrick, with our canoe on the roof, and had it floored. The “A” needs an aftermarket overdrive to cruise at modern highway speeds, IIRC, but once fitted, it’s surprisingly long-legged.

Is there something wrong with me that as soon as I saw the car I wondered when Doug DeMuro is getting one?

Only way it’s crack pipe is if there is significant rust underneath. Or something sketchy with title, or picture is not of the actual car....

The Northeast salts roads, southern Cali doesn’t. I get why he did it; if I had the money, I’d travel across the country for the perfect 190 2.3-16v.

I don’t get “stolen” - if someone steals my bike, I don’t have it anymore. If someone grows the crops that grown where I live, how have I lost anything?

I never noticed it before, but he would make a really good drag queen.

No worries.

I’m wondering if legal weed could provide another product.
