Oh god, my proofreading. “The court will consider unmasking the defendant, if the plaintiff has enough evidence....”

True, but it’s interesting background (?), and further confirms that what the guy posted is in fact true. (Because if it was false, they’d have grounds to go get subpoena)
Turns out they need to more than that; they have to convince a judge they’ve got a pretty solid case. http://www.rcfp.org/browse-media-l…
This site has a summary of how it works: http://www.rcfp.org/browse-media-l… . (And yeah, I should’ve Google BEFORE I asked -sorry)
I’m a Maserati fan in general, but the Ghibli just looks too much like a Buick. Even has the damn fake portholes. I bet it’s pretty nice from inside, though.
Question: if, hypothetically, what the guy posted isn’t true, would Honda be able to claim libel? If they did, would they be able to subpoena Gawker Media for his ID?
Which is doubly funny, because if it wasn’t correct, they’d have the elements of a plausible libel claim.
All that needs to be said about it is this: in the 1980s a dealer in Mahwah NJ had the following sign in their window: “Buy a Lotus Esprit. Get a Renault LeCar FREE.”
Are you saying you can register this as kit car? Because if you can, that’s a whole ‘nother ball of wax, because I was afraid the Feds would seize and crush them.
This is a trick question, because the correct answer is “none.” These vehicles aren’t street legal, and if the Feds find out, they’ll crush it.
I hear you, and hope I didn’t come across as critical. Yes, I love Ferrari V12s as much as the next person (as I long as I don’t have to maintain them!) And that’s the rub - would you rather have a Testarossa, that you can only drive 2K miles a year, or a Morgan, which has a nice, dependable Ford Capri (or Corvette)…
I’d consider AC Cobras, Jensens, Bristol, Iso, Cunningham, etc to be genuine exotics. YMMV. But DeTomaso was one of the sketchiest people ever to make cars. The 1st gen, pre 5mph bumper Paneteras are gorgeous, but I’d rather have a Ferrari 308.
Nice looking car, but built by the automotive equivalent of Monorail Guy from the Simpsons.
In that case, check the prices of carburated 308s.
Our meth-head housemate with a CDL got a hazardous materials endorsement. Fortunately (?) he had a stroke, and doesn’t drive anymore.
It’ll be interesting to see if they follow up with a search of his house. They’ve certainly got probably cause.
I think so. But then I’m ... different. ;-)
It’s legal.
Doesn’t matter. He was behind the wheel and it impaired his driving.
He was too f’d up to know he shouldn’t admit he was f’d up.
