Not the OP, but given the cost of accidents in lives and money, yes, that’s what will happen eventually. Hopefully motorcycles and bicycles will still be allowed.
Bad for car buffs, but awesome for bicyclists and motorcyclists, whose biggest threat is idiot car drivers.
This reminded me of an idea I had circa 1984: a Ford Country Squire, with Rolls Royce Merlin behind the front seats, driving the rear wheels.
An avid cyclist would be pedaling with the balls of his feet, not his arches. And probably wearing gloves.
