Newer, faster hold little interest for me. But $14K with all those niggles and 120/200K miles???? Noooope.

Not really strange to title it this way as they likely own property in PA, but mainly reside in CA. PA allows the engine swap with no issues while CA would make you meet emissions regulations.

Everything on the wagon would have to function properly for it to even sniff this price. I love it, but not for that much.

That’s where I’m at with this.  I’m not even a Volvo fan, but this is pretty cool.  Definition of a sleeper.  I just can’t believe he’s asking 14 large for it.  It’s just plain unreasonable. 

Love vs hate. Love Volvos, the engine transplant and it appears to be a pro installation, although a strange one.

Love the sleeper aspect of the brick, and this is one of those cars that I haven’t really seen the ‘drop an LS in’ method, though I would have probably put more fun wheels on it.  Interior is in way nicer shape than I’ve seen in an older Volvo.

Yep and the A-10 was kept out of Mothballs yet again because of how well it performed in Afghanistan, just like the gulf war in 1991 kept it out of Mothballs because it performed so well.

Oh and the F-14, F-15, and F-22 are all prettier then F-18 any day. :)

Actually...I was referring to the VF-1S. I had one of the transforming toy kits in the 80's. It was the Roy Fokker one with the Jolly Roger...I think mine was the "Bandai Chunky" model...

I loved the F14.. Never worked on them, I worked on F/A 18-a-d.. But I did bang a chick inside a F14 intake once.. Very comfortable :) On the flightline.. we were both Navy :)

The Hornet is capable, but I hate it because it is the equivalent of the Toyota Camry to the F-14's Porsche Panamera Turbo S. Yeah, it does everything okaaaaay, but it doesn't do anything well, and the Navy is just trying to make it do everything. I wouldn't be surprised if they put a giant radome on it and replaced…
