My first thoughts are that it looks a bit like a Hyundai Ioniq 5 and a Lada Niva had a baby

The same people who run and enforce HOA rules.

Wow. Either you just cemented your position as a total click-baiting attention-desperate whore, or as a complete fucking idiot. Which do you prefer?

The greener the grid gets, the better the BEV is for emissions

Did you notice 7 out of 12 in their list were pure EVs including #2 through #5.

I regularly have people ask me how old/what year mine is to hear surprise in their voice when I tell them it’s an ‘01. It was really polarising at the time (and a big part of that, if I remember correctly, was because it shared its frontend with the critically-lauded, but cheaper, boxster), but has aged really well.

I think the commenter is just full it it and looking to stir up something. Talking about driving 800 miles for over 10 hours without stopping like it should be commonplace.

From a thermal efficiency standpoint there is just a massive amount of heat loss from the combustion cycle that no amount engineering will be able to make up.

“Lack of demand" for used EVs isn't the issue. My local paper today had an article on used EVs that had people buying them within hours. It's just nobody can afford a used Porsche.

FUD - but even if it were true it’ll still be under warranty so you’d get a new one.

Drive the car and you won’t care what it’s called.

Me waiting for them shits to drop another $50k in the next two years

A 4+ years old first generation luxury EV lost 50% of their valuation from new?

I can’t speak for the vast majority. But for myself, we regularly travel around 250 miles one way, to locations that do not have charging infrastructure, and we don’t have time to wait for a level one charge.

It'd look a lot better backdated.

My wedding ring(s) are Tungsten-Carbide with a diamond chip. It was $80 at Overstock, or you could overpay at roughly $500 in a handful of jewelry stores I saw the exact same ring in.

While I agree the US should work harder towards a more balanced budget, the idea that the US budget is anything like your household budget, is just asinine.

Parents expect schools to teach their kids life skills while consistently voting against any levies that would give schools money to actually implement such programs.

In Michigan, the weight limit semi is 18,000 lbs per axle. Sure, the EV does 240% of the damage an equivelent ICE vehicle; but that’s buried in the noise floor of a fully loaded semi doing 16796% of the damage of the 5000lb EV.
