I swear to god if you can tell a 0.1 second difference in the quarter mile by the seat of your pants, I will give you a million dollars

Urban parking can have a lot of variables. I have 35' of 90" wide drive between a concrete building and a brick building to navigate to my garage. It’s not even completely straight, so a curve has to be negotiated. No turnaround, so one way has to be done backing in or out. I think I’ll be buying replacement mirrors…
In the video she asks the question, people in the crowd cheer and the men on the panel looks chastened. Then men in the audience start booing loudly and you can see the panel become emboldened to start openly making fun of her. There is a lessen here about the fact that the misogyny in the game industry is reinforced…
We never got a manual iQ in America. If we had, I would have bought one.
“How dare you not settle for working part-time at minimum wage, all so that I can shove a burger in my fat fucking gob!” -AngryBob-VA, probably
I’d take the IQ over a Smart car, but who would willingly buy either?
David, can we talk about this uhm... thing? The one you just slipped in here at the end?
“Her hair was the color of rust. She was tall as though someone installed an aftermarket lift kit. Her walk had a smooth glide like the shifting of gears on a manual transmission. She was the Holy Grail.”
Here’s the thing they don’t advertise: Pushing a car through the air is hard.
“you either love Tesla and all the connotations it comes with, or you’re suspicious of what it’s peddling”
I own 9 internal combustion vehicles. My next purchase will be electric, partly to do my part to cut emissions and partly because I like how they drive. And I support an escalating carbon tax to help capture the externalities of fossil fuel usage and make cleaner energy sources more competitive.
Can you imagine if we’d had your attitude back at the introduction of the internal combustion engine? If everyone said they were a “bad value proposition” (whatever that means) because we already had horse feeding troughs and people who cleared the sh*t from our streets?
Our transition to EV’s is infinitely easier,…
My commute (pre-pandemic) was 30 miles each way. A bit above average. The “normal” range of my 3-year-old Tesla Model 3 is 282 miles (313 on a ‘full’ range charge). I can make it home in the summer with 220 miles “in the tank”. In the winter, it’s more like 200.
If I’m taking a long road trip, say, to my daughters who…
HOAs are a pox on America. They exist as a means by which to exclude people from neighborhoods, they are racist and classist in nature and practice.
Béla Károlyi deseved a conviction and prison for child endangerment for allowing Kerri Strug to vault with an injured ankle. Comparing Ms. Biles to Ms. Strug’s experiences is useful only as an example of how athletes’ health issues should be handled vs. how they have been and often are mishandled.
Never lets me down.
Hi, Folks! Mod Motor Guy, the shop owner checking in again!
Dealership is in the wrong. Allow me to explain my shop’s insurance policy, and you will soon see....
1. General liability - this is EXACTLY as it sounds. If I am out driving your car for whatever reason, be it a test drive, a delivery, or anything general…
Sorry, but any good interviewer knows to ask open-ended questions. “What do you like most about raping children?” “What words of advice would you give to other pedophiles like you?”
Going to go make some popcorn to settle in reading all the excuses/defense of delying the Cybertruck by all the Teslafanbois and how this is a “good thing” and that it’s “still coming soon” and will be “the best there is and first one to market” all the while Ford and Rivian will be making deliveries in the next 6…
“if someone just wants to drop $10,000 or $200 a month for unfinished software that doesn’t do everything it was hyped up about just yet and let that unfinished software take control of your expensive car with your soft, pliant body in it on pubic roads, then, well, I guess that’s just one of those irrational car…
