The 2024 VW ID.4 AWD will have 330 hp with the AP550 motor.  Even the RWD version will have 280 hp.  Doesn’t sound like a winner to me, except for those shopping only for “American” cars (ignoring the fact the ID.4 is made in TN for example).

Same when I had my 2005 Outback XT Limited with a set of 16" Forester wheels with Blizzak WS80. It was just hilariously fun on unplowed rural roads to and from work.  Even my wife enjoyed treating it like a rally car when snow flew and she is a pretty mild-mannered driver.

I have an L1 (8-12 amp, 110V) in our Chevy Bolt and a J+ Booster 2 L1/L2 (up to 40 amp, 110-220V) with NEMA 5-15 and 14-50 adapters in the VW ID.4.
