I walked up to a guy (late-20s or maybe early-30s, dressed in fatigues) sitting in a folding chair next to his very early drab green Jeep. After I spotted an air-cooled 911 sitting next to him I casually joked: “I think there is a World War II joke here, but I can’t quite figure out how to word it.”

Only Jeep could find a way to make a compact crossover in the 2020’s and have it struggle to sell.

To write an article about the next Supervan and not include pictures of its ancestors is just plain wrong.

Any Nissan Leaf (even moreso the smaller 24, 30 and 40 kWh batteries).

From a $/kJ perspective, electricity at $0.11/kWh (a typical midwestern rate after all the fees, taxes, etc) is exactly the same as gas at $4.03/gal. The unit of kJ (kilojoules) is a unit of energy.

So Ford overstated the fuel economy since the real world falls about 11% short of the EPA estimates.  When will Tesla be held accountable for falling 12-15% short in the real world compared to its EPA numbers?

You are showing your ignorance of Latin declensions and cars all at the same time.

I have had the same experience.

That is incorrect. The B mode in the Prius does not increase the capacity of the regen. The capacity is fixed whether you are in D using the blended brake pedal or using the B mode. The only thing the B mode does is engages the ICE engine with fuel cutoff and does traditional engine braking by becoming an air pump.

My first iPod was purchased at CompUSA (RIP) with my first big check from my engineering coop position my sophomore year of college. It was the HUGE 40GB Gen 3 iPod for a whopping $500. I added an aftermarket stereo to my Chevy Cavalier not long after, as well as the expensive add-on Apple 30-pin adapter. Lots of

CarPlay uses a font size that is readable, unlike the most recent major revision of software in Teslas, which has almost unanimously been criticized for the changes (decreased font size and moved many controls around into submenus). While Teslas UI is still among the best in the industry, it is still subject to the

Congrats on the new ride.  I’ve always liked the Sky styling better than the Solstice, and on top of that you nabbed a Redline.

Thanks for the shoutout. I am quite biased as I have always been a big Porsche fan, but the days of any used Porsche being a bargain seem pretty over at this point, and $15k can get you a fair- to average-condition 2.5 or 2.7L Boxster at this point. Still well worth it.

The answer used to be a 986 Boxster S (2000-2004).

Over the last 50 weeks there have been 13 auctions for GNX on BaT, averaging $195k for the final bid (2 were RNM). The examples with under 2k miles on the clock (9 total) have gone for an average of $207k, so it is likely this will go for $200-210k when all is said and done.

You are welcome, out of the greys and into the light you go.

I’m pretty sure Carvana’s business model is spamming Craigslist in every metropolitan area with cars located in “(TOUCHLESS DELIVERY TO YOUR HOME)”

3k mile OCI is very old-world thinking.  Engines and oils have changed.  5K and 10k intervals are the standard for most vehicles and manufacturers today.  As long as you are using quality synthetics and a decent filter, doing it at 3k is a total waste of money.

Don’t forget that they were only one year off from the Chicago Cubs World Series win (2016).  Many predictions were either spot-on or very close thirty years later.
