I’ll add my two cents:

Jamie, you are truly a gifted writer. I also appreciate how you admit to faults of judgement [not entirely of your own making] in the past and how with time, clarity and information you intend to leave the lasting impression of correcting history to better the world (at the cost of corporate Christmas cards). Bravo!

In my Prius is when the range reads 0 miles (I know at that point there is still a little over a gallon left in the tank for another 50 miles of range). Toyota has ridiculously conservative fuel warning limits.

Tesla does not update on normal model year cycles, but every single VIN has a model year associated with it.  Do you even know how cars work?

Awesome, one of two colors the company produces (along with it’s entire model line). I can’t tell you how many blue and red Tesla’s I’ve seen (mostly Model 3). I can’t believe how little Tesla’s palette has changed over the past decade. Also, the Plaid (and Plaid+) have been delayed how many times now? I’m betting the

I just bought [after a fair amount of negotiation] a 2021 Bolt LT with every single option for $26100 in February.  I would say the Bolt is already the most affordable long-range EV in the US.  Tesla, Kia, etc can’t compete at that price point.  I fail to believe the $7500 tax credit will knock another several grand

Karting transport vehicle?

I honestly think it looks like a current generation Ford Escape or Edge

Seriously, what ever happened to Pale Yellow (850R), Flash Green (S60/V70), Saffron Pearl (S60R/V70R) and Rebel Blue (S60/V60)?

My wife and I bought a Bolt EV back in February and have charged exclusively on Level 1 since purchase, as we are renovating our 100 year old garage with a subpanel and two Clippercreek chargers. We havent had an issue with it.

Also acceptable “prandle”

Good color, best 987 wheels, cared for attentively over many miles by a club member. NP

I was just thinking about this think last week.  It’s easy to not think of this as really being “out there” based on the current offerings (Cayenne Turbo S, Urus, Trackhawk, etc).  But there really wasn’t much out there like it at the time aside from the Typhoon years before (1991), and the Durango 5.9 the same year

I can’t be the only one who thinks the Taycan (both Cross Turismo and sedan) are better looking than the e-Tron GT, right? Seems like most automotive writers are gushing over the Audi.

You can add 200 miles of [real-world] range in 22.5 minutes when you go from 5-80% charge.  That will give you a solid 3 hours of drive time until the next stop.  Assuming you left the house with 100% charge you would do 4 hours in the first stint and 3 hours for each stint afterwards.  Doesn’t sound like a horrible

Last time I drove by Kings Porsche in Cincinnati there were two face-lift (2016+) Model S sitting in the front row as used trade-ins.  I assume when the e-Tron GT and other mainstream models start to become available the percentage of EVs wearing a Tesla badge will drop considerably.

Ok, you got me curious so I went to their website and have only one question. What paranoid parent buys ballistic inserts for their diaper bag? Honestly, some of the black bags are tasteful, but I find it disturbing how many people are obsessed with tactical gear like para-military LARPing.

“immolated by fire”

Exactly what I thought, especially when I saw the booster seat in the back.

My wife and I said the same thing. A Prime Sienna would have been a slam dunk for us. Instead we picked up a Bolt to be my daily long-term after we retire my car and hopefully the Prime version (or EV Sienna) will be on sale at that time.
