“Grumpy old man”, also virulent anti-Semite.

Has Tesla not bungled the launch of each one of their models with early-adopter flaws (system failures, motor failures, quality issues, panel gaps and more paint defects than one can count)? While their quality for each model has improved over time each one has been plagued with delays and systemic failures that would

How this is not a 98% CP is beyond me

Agreed, current generation Accord is straight up ugly. The previous gen Accord is much more attractive, but lacking the better engines.

I still do +7-9 mph most of the time, but try to accelerate smoothly, coast, anticipate traffic lights and preserve the potential energy when going down hills.

Prius owner here (2013). Within the first three days of ownership I took it back to the service department to disable the backup beep (single beep when put into gear). Life is much happier. I’ve gotten use to the shifter. Visibility is lacking and blind spots are huge, but that’s the truth for most modern cars with 57

I would love to know the VIN numbers for those two vehicles. It would be quite funny if they began with a 3 (Silao, Mexico).

How this does not have all the stars is beyond me. Maybe I’m just dating myself by understanding the joke with no subtitle needed.

That history is well documented and well understood. Beetles and Type 2 Volkswagens also became staples of the hippy culture through the 1960s. Do you know what Henry Ford was doing all the way til his death in 1947? Personally spreading anti-Semitic hate speech written under his own pen.

Porsche has been doing front trunks since 1948 without issues. Less than 1 year in and Chevy is already struggling. Does the internal front trunk emergency release override the mandated secondary hood latch that is installed on all front closures?  Trying to understand what would cause this, as standard safety

The odd thing is that none of the Model S cars listed on the fueleconomy.gov website even display the previous number that Tesla flaunted (391 miles):

Or the 2015 Galpin Rocket

You forgot to mention that he was ordered to take down all videos pertaining to it as well.  Sad you can work so hard for something you are passionate about FOR YOUR OWN USE, and someone can take it all away leaving you B is for Broke and empty handed.

That driver trying to flag him down near the median is one brave dude.  Shouldn’t the FSD have detected him as well so close to the traffic lane at such high speeds?

I have to be honest, I don’t understand the hatred of auto stop-start.  I’ve driven a hybrid daily for 6 years and really appreciate the lack of NVH while sitting at a traffic light.  I understand that some systems are smoother that others, but does this really negatively affect your life so badly that you actively

Hybrid owner here. After 137k miles I’m still on factory pads and rotors and have half the pad thickness remaining.

“The hybrid cars do tend to be more expensive than maintaining my current vehicles“

You shut your dirty mouth.

What FIAT said. Why is no one criticizing Tesla? If they had named them Super Chargers, then they are a charger that is just ‘super’ in its capability. They are Superchargers, and that had a clear meaning 100+ years prior to the founding of Tesla motors.

I found the seats in the two Volvos (1998 V70 and 2005 V50) to be the most comfortable I’ve owned. Oddly, my wife found them very uncomfortable due to the lack of headrest adjustment which she said pushed her head forward. I always thought the headrests were in the perfect neutral position, as I didn’t feel like I was
