No offense to your friend, but they sound like a terrible driver. That level of bad luck is either an extreme outlier, or the operation of said vehicle was inadequate (at least in the first two circumstances, the third just sounds like a weird series of events).

I can agree with that assessment, however, the last decade has been flawless.  I’m also not using it for cyclocross, just casual riding with my wife and kids.

I went and checked out the first two Taycans in my area when they got to the dealerships. One was a Turbo S in white and the other was a Turbo in the dark grey color. Both were gorgeous in person and I can’t wait to take one on a test drive one day (not that any, even the 4S) are remotely within my means.
