If it has not been coined yet, I would like to propose my theory of “Trump’s Razor”, in which of all possible thoughts, the least appropriate and most offensive must be uttered.

Counterpoint: CVTs are always in the right gear, and can maintain output between peak torque and power without shifting.  Yes, the theater of rpm change and shifting is gone, but at least its not worse from a power-delivery and acceleration point.

Agreed. I was genuinely impressed with how the Mighty Car Mods Golf R turned out with relatively easy, bolt-on mods.  It shut down some impressive competition at the drag strip.

I think the combination of top and paint should be the deciding factor. Unfortunately, some people pick some awful colors together (including some without a convertible top at all).
