I’m disappointed this was not contested or refuted as well. There is a mountain of reputable evidence to the contrary. I have also been annoyed by comments saying auto stop/start systems use more energy than they save.

The Supra was rumored and hyped for near 20 years. The entire cycle between announcement and shipping of the Taycan will be 2 years, so your equivalence is only an order of magnitude off.

I’ll be the one to say it: the VIN may be 1984, but the mods are clearly 1994 (the ride height, wheels, horsepower, etc) are not period correct for the early model years of the first gen S-10 blazer (which ran from 1982 until 1994).

I’m in Cincinnati and saw this ad a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, he’s not the only unrealistic 944 owner in the area, another with a Turbo S 944 in decidedly driver’s condition is asking $25K for what he clearly thinks is a museum piece.

And when the Volt’s battery is flat what is the mileage?  Not even in the ballpark of the Plug-In Prius (1st Gen) or Prime Prime (2nd Gen).  So how is it so advanced?  One area only: battery size.
