OK, now I’ve gone through the rest of the ‘suggestions’ and.... What. The. Hell.

STs, WRXs, GTIs, 2-series M (!!), what the hell?

I can totally get luxury cruisers and whatnot, but this is ridicolous.

Mostly bunch of people stating that driving a manual in traffic gives them the sads. No wonder manuals are hard to buy now.

Other than “Any Luxury Car” and the Super Coupe.. this list makes me sad. I feel like so few people drive manuals now there is no appreciation for rowing your own gears anymore.

I had one of those V8-equipped T-birds and you’re just dead wrong about the auto being better. It was an infuriating lump that never seemed to know which gear it should be in. The “gear hunting” was ridiculous and made we sad I could not option the manual version.

I’m going to get laughed at tremendously but I really don’t care..

They were used as an alternative to airbags for a while. While airbags were becoming a standard feature, any car that didn’t have airbags had to have automatic seatbelts. I think it was mandated, but I’m not sure. Once airbags became standard, automatic seatbelts were deemed pointless.

Then we should start by addressing the impairment we have no legislation for. Drunk driving is already illegal. Getting a license at 16 and never having to retake a test your whole life is legal. Maybe the test part should be addressed rather than just ignored.

Unlike some of the people here, I do get nuance. And thus get your point.

Yeah, the crusade against drunk driving was the classic slippery slope of regulation. Driving at 0.2% BAC? Definitely impaired, with rare exceptions. Fine, let’s crack down on that. That made sense.

Two things can be true at the same time.

The thing that struck me in the trailers was how smart it was to bring the John Cena character into the group — having a guy who’s over-the-top earnest and straight edge feels like a really fun contrast, as opposed to the first movie’s “We are all dark and sad and grim” vibe.

He was really good in Altered Carbon, the first season is great.
