Yeah, and when he has it in the higher orientation and complains about the lack of space between it and the tire, obviously that’s the wrong way to fit his trailer. Hence, it’s upside-down.

I’d say that’s intentional. People who buy new cars want the image that goes along with what they purchased, and what conveys the image of being ecofriendly is a car that looks like an ergonomic mouse. Even the Tesla and Fisker Karma have some of that aesthetic.
His trailer hitch is most definitely upside down. And what’s the beef with EGR? It’s only open under a certain amount of throttle and when the engine is up to temp and it just gives ever-so-slightly better fuel economy. A lot of emissions crap is crap, but EGR’s only offense is cluttering up the engine bay a bit.
But would it be California legal? That’s what makes most swaps so expensive around here, you have to go through all the BAR hoops.
Crap, thanks. Hopefully my edit was in time.
Are there really well-sorted V6-swapped MR2s for sale under $10k? I’d imagine anything in the 4 digit range would be sketchy.
* Mazdaspeed Miata
* Cali-legal 2ZZ/6-speed swapped 3rd-gen MR2
* SN95 4v Cobra in Zinc Yellow with a Maximum Motorsports Max Grip box.
Yes, I’m aware of what the Juke-R is, lol.
I could’ve swore I saw the Juke R listed on Nissan’s website when I was looking at Juke specs for some internet argument.
I want you to look at that list and tell me which of those items are honestly necessary on a sports car. I’m not gonna tell you to gut the interior and scrap the A/C, but massaging seats? 10 speaker systems? Would it really be so terrible to give those up to shed 500 pounds off a car who’s sole reason for being is…
What accoutrements are you looking for that the MX-5 doesn’t have? Power seats are about the only thing I can think of that’s not offered.
Well, it’s not stock Mazda, but a Flyin’ Miata converted ND with the LS3 weighs just under 2600 lbs, and that’s running a properly upgraded drivetrain to handle the power with full interior.
Where are you getting that a Miata weighs 2860? Per Motortrend:
We expect the mid-engined Corvette, or C8, to be a bit heavier than the current car’s roughly 3500 pounds
So I think this is fugly compared to a stock Mustang and I think the Karma is hideous. Do I just not like Fisker’s designs?
Bonus points for bringing back the porno red interior, though.
They need to still make 30 more, then they’ll have 666 Demons for each point of the Chrysler Pentastar.
I grew up with rhubarb pie as my family’s traditional birthday dessert. I was rather dismayed when I got old enough to discover that rhubarb was so commonly paired with strawberry. Now, I like strawberries and all, but the two together? Ugh. It ruins everything good about the rhubarb.
Assuming they brought this stateside, why would I buy it over a FiST?
Probably because nobody bought the Mazda2, which is likely because the auto in the Mazda2 was garbage. I mean, yes, small hatches should always be bought with a stick, but this is the American new-car buying public we’re talking about.
