People are panic buying toilet paper in Portland Oregon. Our local store was completely out. Also one lady was complaining to another about the way she was packing her own groceries as not being “coronavirus safe”.  People are flipping out.

As someone from Portland I am not shocked in the slightest that this happened in one of our suburbs.

Come on now, I thought we would stop sharing the mode of suicide.  It can lead to more deaths.

That’s pretty reductive. My husband is a pro-comics guy and there are plenty of indie comics, small presses and bookstore market comics that are pushing envelopes all over the place. The last graphic novel he worked on is in mainstream bookstores and is about a family falling apart, grave robbery and past lives.

And also, it’s half her story to tell. It is an historical account (if true) about what amounts to a historical figure.

He was really good in that. Chewed the scenery just enough. Just like a dog chews their toys?  Good boys both.

It’s an abusive relationship. How can they both be awful here? One is probably very mentally ill and the other was her co-dependent spouse.  They did awful things (especially one of them), but dang what a black and white reading of the story.
