Yep that’s exactly why.

Let us not forget that this magical moment happened:

That’s a great guess given Affleck co-wrote and directed it.

Of course his name was Chad

I was harassed at a work Christmas party by the on-air talent. Blatantly, brazenly and shockingly. It was only half an hour in. One minute a group of us were discussing politics and then out of the blue he stated that I had magnificent breasts and he wanted to suckle on my nipples. After a moment of shocked silence I

I’m sure there are a lot of exceptions to my anecdote, but when I was teaching secondary school there wasn’t the faintest whiff of sexual harassment in either of my workplaces. I’m in graduate school, where—while that hasn’t happened to me—it happens pretty often to teaching assistants. It’s amazing and awful how

In an interview with the LA Times, Blake Lively revealed she was sexually harassed “regularly” by a makeup artist while shooting an unnamed movie on location.

Yes they agreed and even refused to let him stop despite the obvious trauma...I do wonder how long to let it go on since obviously he had true remorse and continued to do his voluntary speaking against drunk driving and telling the story to schools so they would never have a dui.

This is brilliant. If the victim’s family never gets to forget, why the fuck should the perpetrator?

I wish this could be a punishment. One of the worst punishments I ever read about was a DUI driver who killed someone had to write a check and mail it to the family for $1 every week for 18 years. The result was that the driver has been so traumatized over it he fears her spirit is coming to get him.

Thankfully, between the time when she signed that NDA and today, GoFundMe was invented. Weinstein can sue but he can only bankrupt her if we don’t support her through something like that.

It’s so public now that he’d be insane to sue her for breaking the NDA. His reputation is in tatters, he’s toxic, but he can still make it worse by suing her. He wouldn’t be able to go out in public again (even assuming he stays out of jail).

I like how you think.

I hope this coming to light and that people are hearing her eventually brings her some peace. I hope she does not suffer any legal consequences for speaking her truth.

I know it’ll never sink in for him, but that horrible, panicky night he finally just had, when he was emailing his colleagues, realizing that his life was fucked: that’s how he made women feel every damn day.

Not so much “arbitrary” as “protective of abusive men.”

And yet they’ll never ban Donald Trump.

This is Twitter we’re talking about. Their arbitration is incredibly arbitrary.

Consider it took months of flagrant abuse for them to ban Milo. They shut her down in a matter of hours.

After all the horrible shit I see on Twitter day after day (and report), I seriously cannot believe her account was suspended. Well, I guess I can believe it, I’m just amazed that’s our reality.
