I work for a private engineering company, with typically a heavy design season in the spring. Our president produces consistent motivation throughout the year - not just when she feels the need for some near-term goal - mixed with honest, not-panic-inducing feedback. And this spring was a little rough, so she gave

Whenever a CEO says “rally hard” to “meet the quarter”, it means send out products with lower quality and to cook the books.

I’m amazed you had time to respond versus spending your time suckin’ Trump’s dick. BTW- looks like your home boy is in deep shit seeing as how the committee is nailing his ass. Now go away and get on with your useless, pathetic little whiny ass little pussie of a life

Actually Tesla (up until the Twitter thing) had been the darling of the stock market come rain or shine. They have the luxury of not having to worry about profits, or even quality issues.  Toyota has to play by the normal rules. Tesla does not.

Whenever a boss sends me an email like that I picture them hitting “send” immediately before their flight to the Bahamas takes off.

I read it more like “I need you all to do more work than you’re already doing, but I‘m definitely not paying you more for it”. He’s already tried getting them to volunteer their time on the weekends, which is illegal.

The guy is best buds with Theil.  Musk has been this person his whole life, he just used to hide it better.

At one of my old jobs, we referred to it as “ship empty boxes”.

At this rate, Elon will single-handedly drive his own company to the ground.

Whenever a CEO says “rally hard” to “meet the quarter”, it means send out products with lower quality and to cook the books.

Never before have I ever seen a CEO so hell-bent on destroying their own company. From turning off customers by revealing that they are more or less a MAGA idiot, fucking around and getting themselves in trouble with financial regulators, loudly proclaiming he has a “ bad feeling” and that he needs to lay off 10% of

“So we need to rally hard to recover!”

Tesla without Musk is just a boring electric car company. Musk ads the quirk.

I’m guessing the type of people he’d actually be able to cut would be able to just go get other jobs too. I wouldn’t be surprised if they burn through salaried employees anyway.

Anyone with two thoughts to rub together is just going to head into the office so that they can’t be fired for cause and have problems with unemployment. Tesla’s HR department were probably shaking their heads on reading the email.

I’m amused you think people are smart enough to avoid loans with terms like that.

I’d love for a day to go by without hearing about this guy.
