So when do we start the push to make MotoGP have an enclosed cockpit?

Honda wanted to supply more teams, but McLaren (Dennis) blocked them. STR wanted them instead of the year-old Ferraris.
If we're going to get serious about driver safety, I think we should mandate enclosed cockpits in MotoGP too.
I’ll never understand the minivan hate. Growing up (family of four, older brother that played hockey, family liked to camp and go on fishing trips), we had a van for many years. When I was of age to start driving alone, I inherited the family Grand Caravan, as my dad had bought a second car. It was a GREAT vehicle for…
An affordable Chiron defeats the purpose of the Chiron. No dick-waving millionaire wants a car that some peasant with $600k could afford. The Chiron is a royal chariot, and no serfs shall join the club.
I believe that option also came with a built in coke mirror.
Chrysler told him it would be called the Charger, so he called it a Charger. What was he supposed to do, call them out in the middle of a press vid?
If you're just a pedestrian in the park the kid was driving around in, how are you supposed to stop him? Slow the car down with your torso?
It's not a slap on the wrist. Right now it's nothing, as in, the team is waiting to see what the courts do to decide how they will react. While all the evidence is pointing to GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY, at least the team is saying 'Let's see what the justice determines before we react'. They're suspended for now, and…
Oh Em Gee thanks for posting that! I was at that race and the crowd went INSANE when Sato made that pass. He got a standing ovation at the hairpin (where I was sitting) when he came around the next lap ahead of Alonso.
While I would LOVE to see her in F1 and think she's the best woman to carry the weight of "being a woman in F1", in today's driver market the only way she's going to actually race is if she has really powerful connections and money/sponsors. And if she had those, she wouldn't have bounced around from mid-pack Indy…
I don't know what my problem was as a child, but I always like the second generation Aurora. The year the second gen came out our family was car shopping, and I bugged my Dad to get one. Took me a couple years to realize why he laughed so hard at the suggestion.
I've always thought of The Follow as the best one, but I always have and probably always will enjoy Star more. One crams in a lot of emotion and drama and actually makes you think. The other is like a hot bowl of popcorn for the brain. Empty, but hot and tasty.
Agree! The Chinese and Koreans can build GREAT THINGS... as long as someone else tells them how to do it. Let them design & build it on their own -even if they wind up just copying something on their own- and it's crap. Give them schematics and a decent budget, and you'll get 90% of the manufactured goods on this…
