Stunt people really need to be acknowledged by the awards shows. It’s ridiculous that they’re not. That red herring stunts segment during the Academy Awards this year proves it.

Say what you will about the prequels, but the fight choreography was fantastic. The worst sins of the JJA films was making me appreciate the prequels.
Hands down Order 66.
At the very least, at a festival like that the actors/filmmakers are actually there to receive the applause.
Based on the review, I can say for certain it’s a movie.
One of my favorite things about Mad Max as a franchise is the utter lack of continuity. It’s just impossible to believe things would change so drastically over one man’s life (half of it, really), and there’s so little concern for any sort of through line beyond “Max used to be a cop, and a terrible loss in his past…
What are you talking about? David Cross admitted to what Yi was saying
how does the go saying about “if you meet an asshole, you met an asshole. If everyone you meet is an asshole...”
“Looking for a lawyer in my case and a new manager. I need leftists that understand critical thinking, power dynamics of social caste systems, and has a strong spine of moral integrity”
I wish you luck in your Hollywood career.
I was just going to say, I don’t think I’ve ever seen any story involving this woman which hasn’t been about her claiming something horrible happened to her behind the scenes.
Yeah, the allegations that he’s choosing to use an old school/analogue way of making a film rather than a quicker digital shortcut...is that supposed to upset me?
I suspect the people who made this were fans of that guy with the hydraulic press on YouTube and thought they could somehow shoehorn that into an iPad commercial.
It’s just so weird. I understand that the ad is supposed to mean “look, we compressed all these things into an iPad” but that’s just not what it actually says at all. It solely reads as: “look, we’re violently destroying at least one thing you have a strong emotional connection to; now give us a thousand dollars.”…
well I guess the important thing is to promote the interview by linking to it and making claims to be concerned for this woman's mental health
“Do you have proof of income?”
I realize opinions vary on Thunderdome (I for one find it highly entertaining and a big first step towards his wasteland society building that would lead to the Fury Road setup) but it’s pretty amazing that he’s turned out four and counting without a dud among them. I haven’t heard much about the quality of Furiosa…
“This one comes from Emily Blunt, who recently lived up to her last name on The Howard Stern Show.”
Hard to believe they don’t make actors brush their teeth between smoking and filming a love scene. I doubt del Toro smells great either.
I’m a big fan of a series he was in called ‘A Young Doctor’s Notebook’, where he plays the younger version of a character played by Jon Hamm as an older man. The conceit is that the older man is looking back at his life, so the two often share scenes together, and the height difference alone is hilarious.
He’s our preeminent farting corpse with hidden layers of depth!
