If you want, you can use the desktop version exclusively. The thing is, MS is trying to bundle an OS that can be used on tablets, desktops, touchscreen PCs, and Kinect. If you have a desktop and don't ever want to see Metro again, you have that option.

I know, right? How dare they critique Apple? Unacceptable.

Although i should note im keeping this specific option on off.

Google is offering me free services that i love. Personally, i dont care what they sell to advertisers because im not ever going to see the advertisement anyway.

what's this about them smelling bad? A poor attempt at humor, or is it forrealio?

I think this comic considers that; the girl didnt postprocess on top of the bad camera.

That feature is built in to the phone already.

it has made it to Apptrackr with several mirrors, if any jailbreakers are interested (although you have access to tools such as MyWi as a jailbreaker, it's available if you want it for whatever reason).

It's okay, i assumed you were rich anyways.

If Apple did this, millions would order the "new" iPad from Germany.

Remember when articles this interesting were not so uncommon on giz? Ahh the good old days...

I could see this as a great product showcasing device (im thinking billboards or similar things), but im not so sure about movies. i feel like some sections of the audience would see different images than others, so it be kinda wierd. plus if you got stuck with a middle seat it would kinda suck as it would be

No truer words were ever spoken...

i think the official pic is of the asteroid, but giz just shoop'd it next to the earth to emphasize its proximity.

I dont have an iPhone 4s, but i have a feeling this could be similar to the issue with Toyotas' braking system; maybe some phones have a true issue, but for some people it might just be that you, for example, left the music playing at 0 volume overnight (this happened to my friend) or something of a similar nature.

But you shouldn't have to turn wifi off every time; when i had an iphone 3g i left wifi on 24/7 and as long as it was locked overnight the battery rarely ever went down by 1%.

This is Gizmodo, so, yes. But this time you misread the article. How do you do that?
