@Ballistica: Because you see it from different angles. normally you see length and width, but when the camera angle "changes" you also see how deep (depth) which is the third dimension.

@vidmeister: This was UPS cargo, so it could have been stuff people ordered from amazon or something but we cant know that for sure. animals are not usually shipped via United Parcel Service... but i do see your pont

@BuckieJoe: this article specifically mentions UPS, which means it prob wasn't made for transporting temp. sensitive cargo. i'm sure manufacturers' shipping is done differently; possibly with better packaging, or it could be a different type of plane.
