No, there's nothing about Assassin's Creed's story that makes any sense, and the cutting back and forth between fake past and present doesn't lend itself well to film.

Sleeping Dogs is great, oddly enough because it got killed partially through production. Because they didn't have time to pad out the content, it was pretty much just the main story, and the perfect amount of side missions. I beat everything in the game, and it took me 20 hours, the perfect length.
