NOTHING shows less class than being rude to those in the service industry. You can have all the money in the world, but if you're rude to wait staff etc, you are trash. FACT.

I've taken some solace that pretty much everyone in the world, from Palestine to Egypt to Iran to Russia to China, thinks this is fucked up except for white Americans.

I would add to this, too, that maybe the problems with adult entertainment wouldn't be so bad (I'm not naive, I know there is awfulness in that world) if we as a culture would stop treating sexuality as such a fucking taboo. When you bury a part of your culture out of the light, you can't be shocked or disappointed

This is why I'm against fishing. It encourages freeloading Goliath Groupers that are too lazy to get their own Blacktip Sharks.

More like SMUGshot, right you guys?

"A particular take on the news." And there, my friends, is the death of journalism. The news shouldn't be about "takes" or "slants (no racism)." It should be about reporting the facts. A take is left for the Op/Ed.

I think it was more along the lines of them showing how far the "superhero genre" really stretches. It's an elastic genre where, unlike the early 00's comic book movies or the 90's batman movies, or even the 80's superman movies, it's not a genre that's strictly confined to being a superhero story. It's difficult to draw an exact comparison, as both main American parties are more convservative than UK parties.

For example, the two largest parties in the UK parliament are currently The Conservative Party and The Labour Party, yet our Conservatives (Tories) are actually politically left of the US Democrats!!!

I watched Man of Steel again on cable last month, and actually found myself enjoying it. It's not that bad a movie, actually... if you pretend that it has nothing to do with the official Superman mythos, and the movie is a Moore/Morrison/Millar-type pastiche of the character, in which instead of inspiring hope and

I honestly try to keep an open mind, but the things going on, on the "Right" are simply insane. I'm going to vote for whomever I feel will do the best job, but these nutso people they keep putting in power that denounce science, medical rights, and push 5,000 year old Earth and want the law to reflect their

You think the populace wants to fight the cops? From what I've seen the cops want to fight the populace.

You mean to tell me you're not for Jessica getting back with her old emotionally abusive boyfriend? The one that was so terrible she literally made him forget about her and move to Alaska? You don't think that's a great idea?

No, and fuck you. Jezebel should be able to post articles about whatever they damn well please without having to deal with rape gifs and gore porn and whatever the fuck else. Those are being used as a silencing tool, and your comment is no better.

I just watched Licence to Kill a couple weeks ago. It was both ahead of its time as a dark and action oriented Bond film and behind the times for 'an action flick when compared to Die Hard and the Lethal Weapon films.

Yeah, it's not like we just get tired of a series that's maintaining consistent quality. When the movies start sucking, we bail. When we hear they've gotten good again, we come back. This is perfectly rational behavior, and yet the studios somehow the need to frame it as a bizarre phenomenon - "We thought they
