You are on a website that regularly praises Supergirl, Gotham and Arrow... why so surprised? People like shit TV... always have, always will.

Yeah. Every promo clip makes it look worse.

A pity, because we could use a good film about sufficiently advanced aliens/humans setting up their own little slice of fake Egypt in space... and we get a shit one instead.

It was the only blatant “hey look, futuristic tech!” shot I can remember from the film.

And as such I came out of the film expecting them to have a product ready to hit the shelves.

When are they going to start casting women with actual fucking bulk in these roles?

Probably one of the worst blights on Google’s record is that they have allowed the scam site to be top result when searching for ages now... as they have been forced to remove the real one.

Yeah, there was no reason at all for the character to even exist. Everything she said or did could have been done by one or two officer-types (upon reflection, it probably would have worked better that way).

I like to think that Wayland crewed the mission with a bunch of idiots on purpose... for... er... some evil corp reason.

Our Prime Minister at the time made a big deal about finding it. The same party is still in power so cannot stop looking without loosing face.

If Rey was a Whiny and Moaned as much as Luke, it would be derided as sexist.

The Psychic Uber-Dooige was a highlight.

Ahem... that would be “Emperor”.

Just like bombing the shit out of the Middle-East, people are giving the enemy what it wants with this one.

There is no Kill The Moon

While the endings have often been weak and contrived the last few seasons, this one is getting worse and worse. I have lost count of the number of times somebody in my house said “Oh, come on!” watching this year.

Seriously do not get the love for it on io9... by far the weakest of the new seasons.

“This entire season has been full of them.”

Because it is the only story a certain showrunner seems to know anymore.

“I also accept that this is as much a faith statement as a christian’s belief in god”

But that is not true, the gods sold by religion are so very silly and improbable compared to everything we know about reality.

Also, as it is not being matched with a mouth... there is no reason that line comes from that scene. They could be playing with people.

Nah, I checked... he just got mouthy.

But the gist seems the same. I’m guessing they decided to add a fight to show Jessie is a badass in episode one.
