A Toyota engineered and produced chassis with an outsourced engine could easily be kept around that 50-60k price point. All I see here is BMW renting the Supra name from Toyota.

I hope it has enough gears to use all of that power to effect. I have a fairly powerful bike, but with only 5 gears and being close ratio at that, it’s really only quick from light to light. Regardless. Looks like a blast!
You could tell that they were using every last cent of their allotted maintenance budget on replacing stuff just so they could get more the following year. 80% unnecessary replacement of parts, and 20% regular maintenance/repair.

I got to do plenty of maintenance and repairs on the LLV at my first mechanic job. My boss had a contract with our city’s post office. They spent a lot of money replacing engines for no reason other than mileage.
I loved this little guy since the first time I saw it, and was so disappointed that we would never get it here in the U.S, but now it makes sense. Although, that’s a lot of character for $16,000. I’d likely still buy one.
