I actually really liked "Bone Tomahawk." Yeah, they could've cut an hour, but I think the shift to horror worked so well precisely because the preceding hour-or-so dared to be, well, kinda boring. I think horror works best when interspersed with boredom; gives your brain a chance to chew on things.
