I think Beverly Hills isn’t really conservative as much as it wants to be focused on Decorum.  It doesn’t want an abortion clinic because that will introduce protesters and counter protesters. Basically they don’t want constant action  in their town.

to be fair only kick ass gave him a career. He was in 1 avengers movie and he died in it and his character is never brought up again until years later with another actor.  Godzilla was marketed with Bryan cranston as the main character and thats why people wanted to see it.
