LLady bird was great but her little woman wasn’t. It wasn’t bad however I didn’t feel like her take was interesting enough.  I think the 90's version was stronger overall. Bale > Chalamet as laurie.

The Only way a sequel works is if it’s a prequel about how she got her powers and how she lost them. The movie ends pretty definitively unless the aliens attack again and either of them or both of them get the powers. 

I mean so was Thoros after he resurrected beric and everyone loves him. Maybe try and see the nuance in the story that GRRM is trying to convey with Melisandre 

Peter weller was great casting for that batman.
