@Born_To_Kill: Humankind, set in an alternative Earth where WWII never happened and aliens are assimilating humans for use in their armies, where one man has managed to avoid capture and now has the ability to 'connect' with the rampaging forces. Whilst, at the end of the day, it's good guys V. bad guys what game

@OGHowie: Whilst L4D isn't exclusive to Microsoft, Gears is, and the way people will snidely mention an exclusive at the end of a comment will generally make them look like a fanboy. To sum-up, it had nothing to do with you not liking the story.

@DigitalHero: I'm not sure I really understand your question. But to answer it, no.

@@ph15h~!: As far as I know, only some games support it. We can dream though.

@Gofthick: Doubtful. Consoles don't require upgrading every few months in order to play the most recent titles, in the long-run it's a far cheaper way to experience high-end gaming.

Blu-Ray, Tim Curry and cleavage?!

@Gofthick: The PS3 has keyboard and mouse support. So yeah, that comment isn't very factual when it comes to RTS' on the PS3.

@Mount_Prion®: It sure was, it had awesome music if I can recall correctly. Anyway, I had to pay full price for that, and that was a game promoting fizzy-drinks where you actually played as the fizzy-drink mascot.

@Mount_Prion®: You don't remember Cool Spot for the SEGA do you?

@gahazakul: They aren't real, in the sense that outside of the game-world they cease to matter, true. However, the lovely thing about microtransactions is that they offer an out for people who don't have the time to play the real game.

Microtransactions are fast becoming the norm, and I for one don't mind them. If you have the money, or free time, you should be allowed to advance your character in directions suitable to you - I can envision a time where games without such features will feel as if they are on 'rails.'

@psychobaka: I think he's being sarcastic. And, if he isn't, I'm sure everyone who owns a PS3 - or Wii - couldn't agree more that this game should stay exclusive.

It looks like a PS2 game, to be frank.

@Bernard McGraw: Same as in Aberdeen. To be honest, it makes my day.

@WhitePoop: I can picture it now. Two groups of Kotaku readers lost in the Big Apple, trying to avoid enemy contact, just trying to play that demo. Suddenly, through the corner of one's eye they see a mass.

I swear, I misread this title on the first read through and thought it said "Arkham Invites You..."

It might just be me, but I think it's trying to be the jack of all trades from early 16/32bit games. I also think it's the master of none of those, though.

@animexplorer: "before anyone starts bashing me, make sure to provide hard evidence to support your argument. " =/= "those who used 5 gb installation are called the lamers."
