@CarnageAce: The problem isn't the concept, necessarily. I just think game developers forget that the people playing epic scale battle games like to think of themselves as Rambo, or a lone sniper. So you go from opposite ends of the spectrum depending on which map you play, you either get the entire team camping in

@TheWon: All? Or some? I'm going to go with some, because mine sure didn't stop working. See my above comment.

@d4rlp3nc1l: @AZRoboto: @Stikasasn: Fan-boys, he/ she wasn't being a fan-boy. They were just getting that comment out of the way so there wouldn't be any further flame-baiting, unfortunately that doesn't stop some people, it would seem.

The demo was utterly underwhelming. Unless you have an agonizing urge to pretend to be an elf, or really - really - like Lord of the Rings, I'd suggest avoiding it. For half the price you could probably pick up a better multi-player game in one of the many sales.

@Aye Mak Sicur: I'm guessing they've never heard of flash games.

@Rebochan: It might not be a game for the casual audience, but from my personal experience, it was horribly over-sold as the saviour of the Wii's good game drought.

@JakeDunn: No, but a Wii-mote is, which is why people continue to buy it. Wii Sports comes with the console.

Books at the top, there is hope yet.

@Stevetrop: I find it hard to take anything seriously on the great wide Internet, so my apologies if it comes across if I'm genuinely offended. I actually have a Wii, to play Virtual Console games mind you, but as I've probably made more than abundantly clear; I have no real time for most of the top ten Wii games that

@Soldier_CLE proclaims Steve Wiebe The REAL King of Kong!!!.: I agree, but I think most people who comment here are usually describing themselves - even if it comes across as if their opinion is the be all and end all of everyone's - like DonkeyKong866. I felt compelled to try and sway his argument into someone more

@Seventh: I bought a Bass guitar some time ago for £149, a really decent amp for £90 and an even better book teaching me how to set up said guitar and play. Some time later, I consider myself no better than when I first started, but I haven't opened the book yet.

$180, or a closet. Closet wins every time.

@Doomcryer: I completely agree. I personally couldn't get into WoW because of the people I encountered, grinding for no other reason than to be able to say they're a high level. It got the point where I was thinking no one was actually having fun on the game, it really just set a bad tone and gave me a bad taste in my

@NecronomiconUK: Yeah, I assumed it would be. Good thing I didn't mention it, I could have started a fire.

168 minutes of cut-scenes? Not to offend the GTA fans out there, but on what? No one is exactly buying GTA for the enthralling storyline. I'm assuming it'll be mandatory, unskippable, still images — if I knew more about the DS I might even be brave enough to scream load times.

@Grisaille: To be honest, I wasn't a fan of the first one. I much preferred Relic's Company of Heroes series, and I still do, which is odd because I used to actually play the tabletop 40K (Blood Angels represent, and stuff).

@tnasoundlug: Paying for things that a game should already have is always, in my opinion, cheap. Although, I can sort of see the point in paying for map packs, because at the end of the day you're going to get to use those maps with the online community (that is, if they too have bought them), where as here you're

@Grisaille: Well played, but we can always hope for DLC assless chaps.

@Grisaille: Well, I just happened to drop the weights and protein shake, and noticed that the main character had totally been neglecting to tone his quads and gluteus. Feel the burn, and all that, it's about as manly as I get - it'll have to do.
