I used to work for a public library in Sarasota County. I regret to inform you that the fees collected by the library didn't directly fund the library. They went in the county's bank account. Presumably some of that trickles back to the libraries.

I was 18 when this movie and Pulp Fiction were released. Pulp Fiction changed the way I thought about movies, and I thought Forrest Gump was just kind of silly and dull. Forrest Gump won Best Picture. I was infuriated.
