I wanted to build a Honda Civic in homage to classic hot rods. I was buying parts and storing them in my college dorm room and my parent’s house.

Black EG
Silver ghost flames
K24 with a K20 head off an RSX-S
6 speed manual
Del Sol seats
etc. etc. etc.

I had piles of parts for a car I didn’t even own. I’m sure the Honda

They did send communication to THAT particular owner in Novemeber, per the article.  Someone who doesn’t check their mail will take the time to go to a federal website to look up recalls on their car?

Absolutely nothing to do with the tragic news story.

I had a 6th gen Accord (2000) as my first car. I wanted to modify it to make it more like a “luxury” car. Red and clear tails, turn signal mirrors, wood trim, etc. Wow was I misguided.

PS the shit GM sourced transmission went on it after probably 50k miles.

Chicago needs someone that isn’t embedded in the whole filthy system to clean it off.

But how else will we know who is the “Us” that is against “Them”?

Yeah but it’s all posturing. It won’t survive a constitutional review, but it sends his supporters the dog whistle message that he wants. It makes him look good, feel better about themselves, and encourages more anti-BLM sentiments.  The MAGAs of Florida will remember this come election time.

More smug nonsense with no substance. I’m going to guess you’re self conscious about your own limitations when it comes to intellect so you project.

PS You spelled Infiniti incorrectly.

PPS My birth certificate says Detroit, so you’re pissing up the wrong tree here.

Awful!

Telling people that their argument is invalid, mocking them, and making vague references to a topic without being able to provide those pieces of information itself is lazy enjoying the smell of your own farts internet debating.  You’ve dodged responding to the actual topic while acting intellectually superior a few

Going to disagree with you about the hub and spoke. It doesn’t work well in the US because we’ve allowed public transportation to disintegrate.

We’ve visited 8 European countries and their well organized and well funded public transportation made all the difference. Owning a car in the city is actually MORE of a hassle.

OOH! OOH!

Is the answer “because it’s late stage capitalism where the wealthy continue to accumulate wealth and buy stupid shit while most people have seen their wages stagnate and their future look socially, environmentally, and economically bleaker by the day?”

I think if the mom got maybe a foot closer at any point she could have helped.

This would make sense if speed limits were somehow based on realistic conditions.

:-( I want a black car...

I agree BUT...

Since we (and marketing) decided independence and freedom are American values, and we shouldn’t be constrained by things like train timetables, our entire country is designed around individual transportation. Our railroad infrastructure is falling apart, unsuitable for high speed rail (too many railroad

Saw an article about automotive lighting and I said to myself “Oh, it’s Torch”.

Well, if you’re white, about 30, and the angry incel manchildren push even that to the limit. If you’re Black, what, 8 or 9, based on how the justice system has treated Black children as adults?

Roads are designed with a purpose in mind.

Have you ever seen how surface streets that see a lot of semi truck traffic are all cracked and potholed and torn up compared to less traveled nearby streets?

This is a capacity issue- the occasional local using the road versus an increase of visitor traffic treating them more
