Why not nationalization? Capitalism clearly isn’t going to regulate itself by this point. Lets start going communist.

Since the Democrats have betrayed labor to placate capital it’s time for unions to stop donating to and endorsing any candidate who voted yes on this abomination.

To the wealthy and privileged, equality sure looks like oppression.

Alan Turing?  Best example I can think of, but comparing Turing to Depp is beyond incompatible.

I’m always tempted to say “old person says old person thing”

Personally I feel they should let her have her opinions”

No.

So if we’ve learned anything from this nightmare.... it’s that we really need more Good LGBTQ+ People with a “Sit your ass down” attitude in schools, ‘cause that’s what really stops a bad guy with a gun.

This particularly stung because Sunday was Trans Remembrance Day.

shhh...Pay no attention to the man(wearing the hood) behind the curtain.

Meanwhile the white supremacists who really control everything just sit back and watch the marginalized groups fight each other.

“I got this wrong, and I take responsibility for that.””

No, Mark, you are making 11,000 other people take responsibility for that. You are taking no responsibility.

i love how it took them longer to pull out of russia than twitter and we’re supposed to cheer their heroism

Is a replacement even needed?

It’s almost like PDs the US over have little effect in actually preventing crime, despite the record-high budgets.

Just a reminder: the US police forces have the third highest budget of all armies IN THE WORLD. Just a bit shy of the Chinese Army.

The world’s 3rd largest army is used to police ourselves, against

A quick prebunking: Portland Police Bureau budget is a quarter billion dollars, up 47% from 9 years ago and is the highest it’s ever been. But at least the police union is no longer run by a guy who tried to frame a City Council member.

I like cars and I don’t care.

Taco Bell. Starbucks. McDonalds. Anyplace you’d want to spend 15-30 minutes is perfect for fast EV charging.

i like how you were able to just nonchalantly take the 10 minute charge time discussed in the article triple it because otherwise you’d find yourself comparing a 10 minute stop to your 7 minute stop and that just won’t do

I know we’ve been obsessing about quicker and quicker charging times from public chargers....but despite all of this attention we’ve been giving to DCFC, I really feel like DCFC is a means to an end. Companies and Governments are scrambling to get DCFC across the country, but my prediction is that we probably won’t do
