Absolutely nice price for a Benelli. Be warned! It’s left foot for the rear brake, and an right-side gear change. This kind of stuff can screw your head. I grew up with this, and 40 years later on a Japanese bike I still get wrong from time to time.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Which is why I don’t have any sort of problem with this system. We may love driving, but that’s just it. We love driving. We don’t love sitting in traffic, chewing on our nails and letting ourselves go nuts with the tedium. We don’t love worrying that we’re going to pass out from boredom and smack into someone else’s

It’s a nice example of a really sweet classic. I think it’s a FAIR price, but not really a NICE price. I’d put it at $5K. So, OK sure. But the thing about old bikes, is that they have to be something pretty special to hold value. What makes this bike a close call, is that it is in impeccable shape, with what appears

I’m pretty sure white means I’m a boring conformist who drives a transportation appliance.

But of course, why wouldn’t another apparently partially inept CEO walk away with more money then most will make in a lifetime? I would have thought at this point in history that golden parachutes would have vanished after all the grief companies took for them in the last 20 years... No single person is so important

Didn’t you guys think this thing was a botched-flop?

You pay a technology premium, sure. But, no one that has ever sat in or driven a Tesla thinks they’re junk. No one.

If we all chased speed per dollar, we’d end up on 2005-2008 Liter Bikes purchased on craigslist from dishwashers who ‘really want a truck’.

Agree on both counts. Gas is cheap as fuck if you drive a sensible vehicle and I think $1/liter ($3.78/us gal)is totally reasonable.

You read it completely differently to me then. I read the article as basically praising the bike for what it is, a big ol’ La-Z-Boy on two wheels. There’s no hatred, no vitriol here.

I predict this does not move the needle for Tesla nearly as much as the Model 3 will. They need an “affordable” Tesla, stat!

that’s a super cool sob story

the same people who ride on trails also need to get things from the mall. People see me on a dual sport and say why aren’t you out in the woods I tell them because it’s fucking Tuesday and my job isn’t in the fucking woods, I’ll go there over the weekend. I can’t spend my life riding trails in the woods any more than

I’ll have you know that was the strangest thing I have ever seen!

How about fuck you instead?

NP, because my love for these cars (especially built like this) knows no rationality.
And to be clear, the price is not at all nice; it’s just that something so 80s-tastically awesome cannot be relegated to CP status.

The yearning I have for this car is so unreasonably strong that I literally cannot express it properly with any words in the English language.

God I want one of these so bad. My V8 loving, American heart hates that I want a silent electric car...but...

They just seem....so.......perfect....
