Wait what? That sounds like an amazing story!

How did you read my mind?

My sister has a 6Speed X3 like this and it’s a sweet ride. NP without the lein, but CP with it.

For some reason a large portion of the country doesn’t understand that we live in a global society/economy.

This is a tu quoque fallacy, AKA the you too fallacy.

A star for your weirdness, you magnificent weirdo.

The paradox of tolerance:

I’ve seen that bike, it’s awesome.

Naked bikes are trendy, and with the retro flavour that everyone craves so much I think it will be a hit. I expect the hipsters will be all over it at #theMotoSocial near me.

I disagree that it’s shouting at clouds. I think what chb said is correct, but most people don’t understand the problem. You can’t change the system without knowing what’s wrong with it, and they have done a great job illustrating that with their comment.

I know, I mistyped, I should have said ‘benefit the poor’ because that’s the lie I was trying to point out. *sigh*

yeah, it was an epic typing error - I meant that they’re good for poor people, which is untrue.

I know conservatives are neoliberals.

fuckity fuck, i meant good for the poor. goddammit. my comment makes so much less sense the way i wrote it... *insertfacepalmgif*

convince people to work against their own best interests - works for capitalists, communists and fascists everywhere!

See, my thought was kool-aid drinking capitalists -

You’re not wrong on people trying to get out, but I think they need somewhere to go, and that job falls to the government (since corporations have no interest in the well being of citizens). But the government has done nothing to help people re-train/re-educate, so it’s far easier said than done.

The question is why shouldn’t they? We want everyone to make more money, not less. What is a job that pays too much? Too much to afford a decent standard of living? Shouldn’t that be the goal of society, to make sure everyone has enough to thrive (not just to survive)?

Isn’t that called Dutch Disease or something? An economic situation where a country relies only on one thing rather than diversifying, and then gets screwed when the market shifts and people don’t want that thing any more?

THERE ARE FOUR LIGHTS!
