SO MUCH THIS!!!!
I have yet to meet an economist who can explain this.
I don’t think you really need the sarcasm here. That seems totally accurate to me.
Mine does - it shuts off the engine at low speeds and can creep for a while in traffic. It’s just noticeably quieter in rush-hour which is nice.
Oh don’t get me wrong, wringing out my 1200R’s flat-twin is also very theraputic!
This is one of the benefits of EVs and Hybrids that doesn’t get much press. There is something really enjoyable about leaving work and getting into a smooth and quiet car and just enjoying some serenity.
She should have thought of that before finishing the whole bottle at once!
No, this guy gets that short term thinking is the only thinking, the same thing Toyota did.
Yes they made tons of cash, but when everyone switches to EV’s (which is inevitable) they’ll be left in the dust. Their sudden scrambling is a lesson in short term thinking.
Dammit! My kids are only thankful for love and family and junk like that.

heat rises - aim it at your feet and it will eventually make its way up to your whole body. if you blow cold air on your upper body, that air will just rise up and the floor will be cold.
who says I don’t? maybe I’m bipolar and need my meds.
Batteries are not hazardous waste if properly handled, they are fully recycleable. And before you say “lithium is toxic” ANYTHING is toxic in large enough amounts and if it’s dumped in the wrong place.
yeah see this is the same neoliberal bullshit that has been used to cut taxes in the first place.
Define “Average”
See, equality isn’t so hard is it?
Interesting how the FT chose to focus on this issue now, when it’s been an issue for decades for other products... I get that the demand increases with EV’s, but come on - this just stinks of contrarian journalism and sensationalism.
