Feels a bit like regicide to vote CP against the King of the Streets, but that seems like way too much money. Forgive me yer majesty!

As a Toyopliance driver (mine is refrigerator white), I 100% agree with this statement. Less money on car = more money for bike.

Insert Obama “Not bad” pic here.

I love this, not just because it’s f-ing gorgeous, but because it’s real competition in a segment that is begging for it - EV’s! More competition means winning for consumers (eventually, when it trickles down to prices I can afford...)

Fair point, but management is an easier obstacle to overcome than capacity. Still looking forward to what they come up with!

Properly managed, capacity doesn’t diminish over time. Check out decade old Prius (prii?) or Prius cabs with 300+K in 2 years on their original packs with the same performance. It’s the overall capacity/weight that’s the problem as you say.

Yeah, car companies should have to succeed on their own!

We don’t need to have an existential crisis when a company introduces a new product. It’s just marketing and capitalism. Good for them for recognizing a market with lots of potential buyers and the profit will only benefit the brand as a whole. Porsche Cayenne is a perfect example.

Nein danke.

Earplugs, always (well 99% of the time, maybe not if I’m literally riding around the corner or down the street).

Cycle Canada is good motorcycle journalism.

If I was a woman interested in cars, I’d probably be insulted, but, really, I’d probably just be used to this shit by now.

I LOOOoooooveee the Hawk GT. LOVE. I want one as a 2nd bike.

A motorcycle. (I picked a UJM, but any will do)

I would like the Seat, but that’s dreaming. It looks sharp.

Having owned 2 VW Wagons previously (MKIV Jetta TDI, B5.5 Passat 4Mo), I’d only buy it if they offer the TDI here in North America. It would be the perfect combo of my last two cars!

Glad I'm not the only one! Astonishing is the right word.

this is exactly what i thought of when I read that! cheers to that!!

I'm not your friend, pal!

Yeah, governments only have the common good in mind. What losers. That Russeau guy was full of shit.

While I agree that battery production probably produces toxic horribleness, have you seen the Tar Sands? Refining oil/tar/fracking isn't exactly good for the planet either.
