No more toxic than for every other car out there and facilities already exist for dealing with those materials. If we need to create new places and ways to recycle parts of hybrids (which, btw, have engine coolant etc.) we're only increasing our carbon footprint further.

More importantly, there is nothing toxic or exotic to recycle or bury at the end of a diesel's lifespan. And I assume it's not imported from Japan, adding more carbon to the atmosphere?

KAPOW!
ZAP!
This was definitely on the Batmobile.

Absolutely! More than enough room for a family of 4. There is no need for a minivan - think outside the box!

I was thinking exactly that when I saw this post!

The braking wave phenomenon on the highway. Touching your brake affects everyone behind you, until traffic 3o minutes later comes to a complete stop. Plan ahead!

An absolute must for end of the day unwinding!

Nice price because why not turbocharge the shit out of a bland econobox? Kudos to the builder for having a vision few have and even fewer can appreciate.

Agreed - yes it's insane/impractical/inefficient etc. But it's as Jalop a car as Jalop gets.

There are two of these in my neighbourhood, one of which I drive by every day just to look at. Mmmmmmm3

I wonder if you could do the math to calculate the amount of force required to knock the F150 on it's side? Then extrapolate the speed of the Maser from there? I wonder if that would hold up in court... maybe if a physics professor did it.

Lovely! What good taste you have.

Betwixt! I love that word, it's way underused.

Don't forget this one!

Amen!

Why, sir, are you not in politics? I agree 100% with all of your ideas.

This is why I love this site!! This is an awesome mashup of car's and culture. I wish we were all in a pub having a beer discussing this.

where is this person coming from? or going?

It looks like it's been surprise-dragoned by Ray.
