Love that she just keeps her mic in her hand while she’s beating the s*** out of everything in site. Clearly she’s never had to pay for a microphone.

He and Hank don’t have a lot of places they can go to really be safe

I went back to watch/listen since Sally kind of mumbled it. Also checked the closed captions. It was “Oh, you do?”

I thought her reply was “I love you too.”

I’m rereading these comments, and I appreciate you replying because my first comment wasn’t clear. I was referring to the UFO talk just disappearing around 2000. Cell phones - specifically cell phone cameras - made it easier than ever to document everything. Things like camcorders had begun that trend, of course, but

Probably had everything to do with cell phones getting widely adopted

I remember that era and was around the same age! In hindsight, UFO talk was everywhere and then sort of disappeared around 2000.

I’ve been waiting for a proper UFO horror movie since Fire in the Sky. I mean believe in it or not, abduction stories are so specific, strange and terrifying that there is so much to pull from. We only usually get alien action movies. Pretty excited for this.

Are you my dad?

I 100% agree with the sentiment, but I’m not sure you’ve got your term right.

“Hot dogs are really gross if you eat more than one of them.”

Consistent speed on the highway. I do the driving on a lot of family road trips in the summer. Unless conditions don’t permit, I always use my cruise control. It never fails during a day’s drive that I’ll come up on someone going slower than me, get over to pass, then be unable to because they speed up. I’ll then get

It must depend on both the quality of the dog and the bologna. I remember vividly as a youth trying Oscar Mayer’s offerings of both at the same time (back when I ate cold hot dogs as a snack) and they tasted exactly the same.

I’ve always thought they are essentially the same meat project.

That is an interesting question. I have never thought of it in detail, but hot dogs are fairly aggressively spiced compared to bologna, aren’t they? I’d classify them as firmer too, but still emulsified similarly.

Hot dogs are already cooked by the time you get them, which means you can tear into them cold, straight out of the fridge, if you’re so inclined.

All I could think about was the last episode where the tv exec said if someone is eating a donut, everyone watches the rest of the tv show.

I think it’s intentionally going more and more bizarre and absurdist the more we realize Barry is incapable of humanity, and the more Sally gets sucked into the Hollywood machine the more she is expected to give up her own authenticity and the more Hollywood the show becomes. There’s definitely some parallel
