I think it has to do with the sense that the folks from coastal big cities (and those within their sphere of influence), being the beacons of culture they are (or claim to be), view themselves as more important and/or smarter and/or more qualified to make decisions about the direction of the country than the “simple”

My wife watches a few of these and some friends watch others. There are a few I hadn’t heard of in there as well. I’m a California-raised now-Texan, for what it’s worth.

The question isn’t just the cost of the hot dog. How much hotdog do you get? How does it taste? Costco’s are huge but maybe not my favorite hotdog ever. I’m curious about Sam’s Club now.

Can someone please give me some good reasons not to fear this is headed in a totalitarian direction?

I wonder what the result would be if someone played a near-field mix in a theater. I bet it would be ok but not spectacular.

I’m glad when something renews interest in the classics like this!

Living in Texas, I know Whataburger ketchup is a thing. However, I think it’s almost time to pit it against McDonalds ketchup to declare a winner. McDonalds has the best fountain drinks, and I always heard their ketchup was sweeter, too. I never thought too much about it until now since there’s a contender in the mix

My standard is to tip for table service/delivery at 20% and to tip at the counter for takeout places I frequent (basically local burger and local pizza) a few bucks. I also throw in a few bucks’ tip for a haircut. It’s either due to relationships or, with sit-down servers, custom.

I thought it was accepted that a person with certain pre-existing or latent psychological disorders can have those disorders exacerbated by the use of psychedelics and other such mind-altering substances. Not to say that LSD or any other substance “made him crazy,” but more to say it expanded the issues he already had

I can respect having reservations about a reunion. The characters evolved to a certain point, but sometimes it’s best to let the story end where it ends and leave it good. If there are stories yet to be told that would be great, then it’s a good idea. Otherwise it’s just nostalgia and it ends up taking a bit of shine

They’re in every theater concession line I’ve ever seen, but my East Coast travels are limited to 3 weeks in Florida in 1995 and we didn’t go to the movies.

Cherry Coke in my case

My West Coast roots show up in my love of Red Vines. Must be something in the cool, Pacific air.

Why do you suppose that might be?

When the story first broke, it looks like she was saying he was already in counseling, so this being a big problem is not something he was totally unaware of. It’s possible this was a rock bottom moment for him and the fact he’s publicly losing everything he was privately manipulating and threatening her to get (over

I wonder how many people kept hearing about G4 and planning to watch some again but didn’t get around to it. Apart from the launch announcements, I didn’t get around to it.

I guess this is how they compete with Wal-Mart and Target? If I’m right, they’ll have to use their combined buying power to lower the cost of goods so they can compete with Wal-mart’s prices.

I suspect the investigation/discovery period for the foam pit will take a long time, and that might not be totally unreasonable. There are so many parties involved with this from Twitch running the event to Lenovo sponsoring the booth to Intel possibly co-sponsoring the booth to the company that installed the pit to

Naturally, I checked out the Parent’s Guide on IMDB. I can understand why people are getting queasy. It’s...a lot.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it went multi-anchor as opposed to being a single-host show.
