It’s good both ways, but I like it chilled better too!

Nature of the Internet! Thanks for your compliment. That sounds like a place I could lose hours—although it’d probably be a better place for my occasional ramblings than a comments section!

Not sure if you’re being sarcastic or if this is actually for me, but thanks. I’ve never heard of AO3.

16 is way more than I ever expected! I always counted but I figured it was RNG or something. I guess as I think about it, timing was a factor, but still, I thought getting to 10 or 11 was an achievement.

Just because it’s fun to imagine different scenarios:

A young adult Sally ends up on a private plane with Pete where they realize they both knew Don and have a conversation about their experiences with him. Of course Sally tells Pete that Don never mentioned Pete to her (because he didn’t think about him at all). Still, they bond over wanting something from Don that he

Hopefully he gets some stuff into Jackass 4.5 then.

It only happened once in my time in classes with him. A fond elementary school memory for sure.

I think the main reason I remember is because one of the kids in my class had a parent that owned the two Taco Bells in our town and they brought in a “make your own taco” bar for a class party. I remember loading up on the earlier-recipe beef and soon after, they changed it. Like I said, the newer one is still good

I remember a change in 94/95 that made it seem less like meat. I still like it but I really liked the prior version back then. I was also in elementary school so that’s probably a factor. I imagine there was probably one or two other changes in production in the 70s and 80s in response to changes in the economy.

This is a moment to realize how small the life of someone in the industry gets. To them, this is as impactful as when a fight happens between two of the popular kids in a normally-calm middle school. Most of us are thinking “yeah, that happens sometimes and it’s not good but sometimes you say the wrong thing to the

Art of Manliness some time back offered that instead of saying “be careful,” to say “have a plan” when your kids are doing risky things. I like that because kids are going to find a way to take risks and it’s good to encourage them to think things through in a way that shows them you have some confidence in their

Other hurdles:

I’m actually excited about the live performances. I want to try to catch this live.

I think the main unavoidable con is that you’ll probably get the food after it’s been sitting a few minutes--unless logistically they work out your proximity to the place and pull it at just the right time, which would be a little invasive. Sometimes those few minutes are valuable—if you’re picking it up and taking it

I don’t know what anyone was expecting other than this. Chick-Fil-A is always a huge draw with long lines. I guess they figured since In-N-Out isn’t insane in TX like it is in CA, maybe Chick-Fil-A would be less crazy in CA? Texans love Whataburger and Braum’s for burgers, though, while CA doesn’t have a strong

The problem with the criticisms about these changes to the English language, in my estimation, is that the criticisms usually sound more like complaints against the people (or the types of people) who are (largely unconsciously) driving this change instead of a defense of the language as something the critic loves.

I don’t think signing waivers for a concert is a good idea. I don’t like it. I just won’t be surprised if someone tries it. It’s not a recommendation; it’s a prediction, and one I hope is wrong. I feel bad that someone might do that, but not that I’m aware of it.

I don’t think it needs to be a hot mic, but I think the performer should have the first opportunity to address the crowd so they can maintain control, which means having that communication connection. If the performer fails to act quickly (let’s say within about 10-15 seconds), that’s when production shuts it down and

I know they can talk to the performer (though some still don’t like in-ears). What I’m saying is that as part of show safety, especially in a large festival setting, I think it’d benefit everyone to have access to one channel of the mix that is not mutable for anyone’s onstage monitor mix so the performance can be
