We’ll hit a Sonic periodically. The burgers are not worth getting IMO. The hot dogs are ok. Tots are ok. It’s basically drive-up fair food—it’s better if you’ve been outside all day during a Texas summer and you need calories. The limeades are a nice afternoon treat, though, so maybe treat them as a glorified drink

I’m glad you’re making a cool keen din about this.

I grew up eating BK in California, and it was reliably good in my area. That tells me BK makes food that tastes good. Moving to TX, I was a little surprised people hated it here—I figured maybe it what Whataburger pride or something. I was wrong. It’s been hard to find a good BK around here.

The second I read “Planters Cheez Balls,” I was transported back to my 8th grade summer — a summer of N64, Nu Metal, friends from different friend groups meeting and clashing, South Park, skateboarding, and a snack drawer in my room that I ate from seemingly without consequence—physically or otherwise. It was a

I *think* get where she’s coming from—if an egalitarian view of everything vital to your worldview, you’re probably sensitive to anything that appears to patronize someone. That will be even more important to you if it affects your kids. Plus, I assume she’s really into food? That’s a double-whammy.

I would have said the same not long ago, but I’ve learned that it’s about your end game.

We’re a whole milk household. Whether or not it’s necessary, I’m compelled to shake it.

Maybe I skimmed way too fast but did no one choose a pumpkin spice cake? Spice cakes are (to me) the true home of cream cheese icing (which does not belong on cinnamon rolls IMO). So to me, spice cakes are vital to job-creation in the economy of baking ingredients, and that deserves a vote, especially during a

My buddy had a DC. I remember being really excited to play it but not liking the games he had (I only remember Sonic).

Can we open up a discussion on which beverages should or should not be shaken? My wife gets irritated because I shake everything (that isn’t carbonated or hot)—milk, all forms of fruit juice, etc. For some reason it feels like it’s part of the experience to shake it up.

If this game is ever on in my house, my wife and I (playfully) argue over whether Mario says “let’s a-go!” or “pickle!”

I got those a week or two ago in a DFW-area McDonalds. As for spiciness, they’re a little spicier than the classic Carl’s Jr. Spicy Chicken Sandwich, but still maybe a 3-4/10 range. That’s pretty good for fast food, because when you up the spicy, you increase its likelihood of ruining other flavors, and fast food

Theory:

With great fries comes great responsibility.

Maybe the fries would be considered “specialty,” but the spicy grilled chicken seems like its own thing.

LOL.

Two other things to consider if you’re going to order that lemonade: get something with spicy grilled chicken and ask for your fries “well done” to get them crispier.

I saw this on goodnews_movement on Instagram. We could all use more reminders of humans’ capacity to do good, so I recommend following her (independent journalist).

It’s nice that McDonalds wants to give us something to look forward to this year. Now if only we could convince them to return to their former vanilla shake recipe to cool the burn...

I fully support this endeavor, and I usually eat keto/low carb. Bread is delicious and should not be forsaken. It might be the most human of all foods.
