82 Pittsburgh Reporters Banned From Covering Protests

I’ve been listening to this the last couple of weeks. There are some great tributes/covers (Thank Your Scientist especially), but the original reigns. This song has legitimately strong hooks and it’s a lot of fun. I mean, it’s about jealousy and heartbreak, but what classic party song isn’t?

I was going to develop “Conspiracy Theory Bingo.” False Flag Operation was going to be the free space. But it’s’ too depressing.

This one is tough. Obviously the writer is expressing hurt for the people who’ve been victimized by police who have abused their position, so it reads as an attack on the concept of policing. She’s using questions to get at the emotion of people who feel un-protected and/or victimized by the police who should serve

This is starting to remind me of George Lucas with Star Wars or Hideaki Anno with Evangellion. It’s this rich world that so many people love and send a lot of time thinking about. They almost become a form of cultural religion—or at the very least a shared mythology. But the story is also still interesting to its

Let’s not ignore the three others with similarly disturbing posts (see the Texas Tribune article).

Moana is top shelf, but I think The Lion King is the best. That might be nostalgia, though. Aladdin is probably the most fun overall as a soundtrack IMO.

Maybe I’ve missed something, or maybe I’m just wrong, but it’d be kinda useful to have the option to choose the version you want to watch. Let’s say it’s a movie you love and want to introduce your kids to, but there’s some stuff they’re not ready for. Or let’s say that you grew up watching the “edited for prime-time”

Could there also be a data management or data security element to this? If the account is unused and they’re holding that data, it’s (1) taking up a little digital space and (2) more importantly, one more place for people’s data to be breached. I’d rather have then intentionally forget my credit card info.

Don’t you have to identify “the thing to be seized” in order to measure it though?

I get what you’re saying, but I think it’s really only this much work the first time you go to a given place. Then you just make choices about where you feel comfortable. Anytime I go to a new restaurant, I’m already kinda taking inventory to see if it feels clean and safe food-wise. And I don’t wan tot sit too close

Where I work in Texas, my employer has had us 100% back in the office since early May. I can tell you from experience that it doesn’t take more than a week or two to get lax about social distancing, masks, face-touching, and the like.

I like this. The whisper style reminds me these are spy movies after all. But for some reason I have a soft spot for her, so I’m more ready to like it than not to. And Finneas is a force to be reckoned with as a writer and a producer IMO. As a team, they don’t seem to be averse to anything--trend or not. I think what

“Think Mortal Kombat: Annihilation.”

The college campus strategy makes sense. If you’re looking to set yourself apart from everyone else and you’re questioning your own belief systems, you might listen to more extreme ideas. This is especially true when you’re convinced you’re too smart to be duped by the rhetoric of any party or movement; you end up

I left about 10 y/a, and it was probably a $6 at that point. By now it’s probably $10 but I’d pay it if I get back to visit.

I didn’t know there were special sides either until someone did a report on it in college.

I’ve gone long stints due to burnout or other reasons with a few foods: glazed donuts, soda/cola/pop, ham sandwiches, roast beef sandwiches. But I’ve always eventually returned with a new respect for them. Well, except for glazed donuts--they’re ok but I prefer cake donuts to yeast donuts.

As a Lompoc-born transplant to Texas, I’m thankful you’re spotlighting what to me is the standard against which all other grilling is to be held. Every parking lot fundraiser is a tri-tip grill with half-chickens offered as well. I’ve rarely seen mac and cheese—usually it’s a more homely side of ranch beans and
