I liked the first one. Even the second one is a fun watch.
A few thoughts:
Wow. That was my lunch through most of elementary and middle school in the ‘90s. I guess there’s something about education and bologna sandwiches, huh?
Whatever you end up doing, good luck! I hope it works out the way you’d like! It’s always a gamble and you might find freelance is perfect for your personality.
I’m disappointed no one went for the classic bologna on white bread. Mayo, mustard, and a slice of American cheese. Maybe some chips on it, maybe they’re on the side. And a cold Kosher dill pickle. With a Coke.
My wife started and quit freelance graphic design because the clients she could pull at the time wanted bad design too quickly for not enough money. She started her own line of designed products instead and now she really does work for herself.
Prediction:
Interesting to see this within a week or two of Rogan having Graham Hancock on his podcast again talking about his book about evidence of pre-Clovis humans in the Americas. Obviously the timing is intentional for book sales, so when I say it’s “interesting” I mean that this kind of potential find is probably getting mo…
Most of us think very simply about recycling. Either it’s biodegradable or it goes in the recycling. That’s all. We might flip a coin to determine what to do with bottle caps.
When I was in middle school, my dad was already “retired,” but not in the financially-secure way. He was retired in the “I’ve only done manual labor since I retired from the Military and I’m too old for anyone to hire me to do that kind of work” sort of way. So, he worked part-time at a local two-screen movie theater…
It’s hard to define the fundamentals of a burger, IMO. I’ve never been interested in it myself, but many a health/weight-conscious person will forego the bun. Is that still a burger, or is it just a patty on lettuce (or in my wife’s case, cocooned by a bit of pepper-jack and a lot of sauteed peppers and onions)?
Is this already a thing in other countries? I’ve read about how EU and GB really bought-in to the whole wave/tap debit purchase thing and think the US is out-of-step just getting to chips and still using PINs for almost every transaction, so I’m curious if there’s a similar International view about this. I’m not…
Besides the overstated claims of this being some form of racism/reverse racism, I don’t understand how this is pushing some developer’s political agenda. It’s just what they think this character would do if they had the power to change timelines. I’m sure there are “problems” (note the quotes) to find in lots of the…
I can’t recommend this enough. I have a son and a daughter and they both like doing this stuff all the time.
Is this the appropriate place to rehearse my frustration and disappointment with McDonald’s for ruining one of their most classic menu items?
Gwen’s picks are all classics. Some may say that’s boring, but that’s wrong. They’re classics for a reason. If you emerged from some horrible food-deprived situation and got to go on an all-expenses-paid fast food binge afterward, you’d get all of her picks. I don’t think you can say that about the others. I applaud…
Since they’re the most common third item on my plate with a burger and fries at home, I’m going with canned green beans. For some reason it just works for me.
Any reason to avoid trying this on the grill as well? I would guess not since we use mayo in our chicken breast marinade/coating every week.
Fair enough. That’s a positive that he didn’t burn the house down or hurt himself, right?
