For a minute there I thought it was missing its left-front tire. Handsome car, but apparently an ineffective leaf blower.

It's easy; everything is plug-and-play! *famous last words

VAG product, turbo diesel, has a battery. It’s basically an Audi R18. For $2,500?! NP!!

“Also, I have the 4 cylinder supercharged engine and transmission that came out of this Corrado. It ran great and had no issues.”

As much as I loved driving my ‘01 Jetta Tdi, I hated the expense of mechanical repairs. Injector pumps cost around the same price as this car and even with the fuel savings, this car will be a money pit.

I raise you with stupid diesel swaps! 3 cyl, 2 stroke detroit diesel into a 69 stingray :D

Plugging all that back in shouldn’t be too terrible a chore

Removed decent engine, replace with dog, sell when you can’t figure out how to make it work.

>The motor alone is worth 1200 min.
I knew you TDI guys were insane, but this. This is just retarded. 1200 for a diesel four banger? Have you ever taken the time to just sit down and think about what you’re getting for your money? You should know you have a problem when even us rotary freaks think you’re wasting money.

CP, fuck that shit. He left literally the hardest, most infuriating part of a motor swap for the buyer.

*Notices bale of pro-mix in photo, has sense that this seller has a large electric bill and possibly a lingering smell of skunk, recognizes likely reason for diesel swap being too many bong hits, walks away*

Ooh, sporty and slow; what a winning combo. And for my next project, I’ll swap a 350 Olds diesel into a C5 Z06. CP!

A quote from a self proclaimed VW obsessed enthusiast - “Corrados are ultra needy manic-depressive girlfriends who spend all your money and then don’t put out but they look so good and it feels so god when it works you let yourself get strung along for YEARS”

As much as I love Corrados, and have my own, I do have to say from personal experience you are really downplaying the effort involved in getting that swap into running condition. You are looking at a post OBD swap into a pre OBD (not even OBD1) car. Also, there are a ton of one off parts for a ‘Rado. Outside of

Me this morning.

NP because I’m crazy. I would buy it, scrap that junky TDI and put the newest GTI engine I could find in it. I would have that sweet, sweet body with a new drivetrain. Wins all around.

That’s not a car, that’s a pile of parts in unknown condition. Crack Pipe.

That is a goddamn gorgeous car.

Run over enough people with mullets and you’ll get enough hair for both.
