I think the real kicker there is that even if you do the grind you’re not promised any Exotic gear (which don’t seem to drop anywhere else for the time being). Last week I spent the time to clear out the Super Deluxe Hive Royal, didn’t a single piece that was an upgrade. That’s bad design and doesn’t encourage me to

Repetitive is an understatement. The end game is just an elevator ride that takes you to dozens of near identical floors. Anthem had more variety at launch.

People have criticisms for a mediocre action game with a severely lacking multiplayer that cost $60 at launch. Wow.

...this ain’t it fam. Fun to control heroes don’t mean shit if the shit around them sucks ass. That’s like putting Kratos in Bubsy 3D. Sure, it'd be fun at first throwing the axe and whipping the chains around, but the game around him would absolutely suck. Characters don't mean shit for content if there is no other

I really enjoyed the single player campaign. Have been struggling to motivation to continue playing though. The missions are so repetitive, and the loot is supremely boring.

Yeah they sure are, the Reddit for this game is salty as all hell but at least I know what to look out for and what bugs may or may not be waiting for me at the endgame when I make it there.

Aaaand this is why I'm taking my time getting to max level.  None of these loot based, persistent online games seem to ever be good enough to satisfy hardcore players at launch.  It's almost like it's hard to make these kinds of games work properly without releasing them into the wild first.

There’s not really enough to do in the endgame to warrant being stingy with rare gear, tbh.

The pay outfits are unique and also way overpriced.

“Haven’t play this game so far, but that won’t stop me from making up ways to shit on it.”

Absolutely nobody fucking expected Cap to be dead permanently. You’re not going to make a big budget Avengers game and have Captain Fucking America be playable in one level only.

He’s also on all the load screens and he has his own specific combat system when you play as him in the intro so even if there weren’t any pre-order bonuses, or if you didn’t know superhero comics enough to know that nobody stays dead, or if you didn’t know that Captain America is one of the most popular Marvel

I mean, Destiny is repetitive gameplay, too. Do you like shooting aliens, because holy shit do you fight a lot of aliens. But Destiny is hugely successful and can be a real blast, even in single-player (sometimes).

The problem wasn’t the gameplay, but the tight lipped nature of the marketing and the fact the beta was an extremely poor representation of the final product. Which, funny enough, is what a beta actually would be. However, in these days, people hear “beta” and think “demo”. The beta build everyone played the past few

Pretty sure they've started all characters are free.

So a single player game with a 10-15 hours campaign at $60 with no replayability with potentially paid DLC is ok with you but a $60 with a 10-15 hours single player campaign with tons of multiplayers content added on top of it and free DLC is not ok.

Never gonna happen cuz Macross.

I like the design of the 2003 Unicron better, those purple accents, working launchers, and the ability to throw a glow in the dark bird make it hard to top.

Funny how ultra violence is ok but genitalia needs to removed. I wonder if people even realize how strange that is to people who have a healthy view on nudity
