Just a few weeks ago a 2007 example was bid up to only $34k on BaT. A similar price seems to get you a 2014 or 2015 model on the site. This is grossly overpriced for probably the worst looking MB hot wagon.

Absurd.

I feel like this is the kind of thing where you just need to find the one person who wants this car but I’m concerned that person is also the one selling it.

Honestly, I had a lot more fun on the practice/qualifying days than when I actually attended the race. No matter where you sit, you’re only seeing a small fraction of the track anyways, so in many ways the TV viewing experience is superior if you’re actually interested in watching the action. Plus avoiding all the

Yet the door seams are still more uniform than a Tesla.

Oh, come ON. What’s with the doors? This vintage of Alfa has enough issues without some grownup 8-year-old making it the car he drew on his Trapper Keeper in 3rd grade social studies.

Man, that shifter is weird!

70s Italian design & build mixed with quasi-structural mods? How hard can i press the ND button

I wonder how many times something like “Work?? Me??? Do you know who I am?” was uttered.

There is a world of difference between the build quality of those brands and Tesla. It really is THAT hilariously bad. You can hur dur all you want about the Italians and the British, but they do actually bolt them together properly these days, with matching paint on all the bits that should match, and parts not

Your sister is so far out on the edge of edge cases it’s not even funny. Most anti-vaxxers are, in fact, just morons.

I find it hard to take them seriously as a luxury produce when they STILL, after all these years of building cars, have the fine build quality of a cheap Chinese toy.

And they are anti union, have all kinds of labor issues, also weird build issues like finding an AC compressor banded in place with some wood like MacGyver had to fix it on a loading dock... from the factory! I’ll never buy a Tesla.

I remember living in an apartment that decided it was changing to “luxury” apartments. They put in a new light fixture and a mirror, and then doubled the rent.

we bought an Ioniq EV last year from DGDG Hyundai in San Jose, CA, and we actually had a relatively good experience. the finance guy sucked, and I had to tell him multiple times to remove the extended warranty thing.... but aside from that we rolled outa there for (after all rebates) basically $700 down and $150/month.

Did I say I wanted him to die or end up in the hospital? No.

you were lied to about where you can take your car. they dont get a say in it.

I’ve seen a handful of Ioniqs (Ioniques?) the past few weeks, and they look pretty sharp and modern. I saw one EV6 which I assumed was a long-range test or something. Looked fantastic though. I have no doubt that Hyundai can become a major player here, and hey, maybe that’s what we need to get adoption up.

Shame.
